GenBun’s first ever Technical Trading Workshop with Michael Louie Lim
April 8, 2022 — GenBun held their first ever Technical Trading Workshop with Michael Louie Lim, he is a certified Technical Analyst since 2021, and had a 5 five year experince as a trader. He worked for the Philippine National Bank as Relationship Manager in Commercial Loans for 3 years and now he is a Law student in the University of Santo Tomas (UST). The speaker talked about “An Introduction to the Psychology and Basics of Trading.”
GenBun conducted this workshop, since they aim to: (1) Provide an opportunity to enhance strategic and analytical skills by learning the basics of trading. (2) Contribute to the holistic and personal development of the individuals. Lastly, (3) Build a community of strategic thinkers.
Michael Louie Lim, never failed to give the listeners a very informative talk. He tackles the importance and the various ways to maximise our earning potential in the financial market. He also gives the most valuable lesson for that night, which is that the beginning steps is the most difficult part of the process but if we are keen to succeed in it, we have to invest in learning and be open to all the opportunities. Since right now, we are now living in a fast paced environment, we have the potential to earn in the comforts of our home.
This workshop teaches all the attendees to learn a lot and get a clearer understanding of how trading works and these lessons will be able to apply these tips and tricks in investing. Like Michael Lim mentioned in his talks, that traders don’t necessarily have to chase the market but instead they should always trust their plans, when you make mistakes take a breather and evaluate your steps so you can go back in the game field and win more.
