Millions of NFTs are for sale, and thousands more projects are launching daily in various blockchains and networks. Polygon, the environmentally efficient among other blockchains, welcomes thousands of them in their network. And with multiple projects coming in daily, the assurance of knowing which one of them is legit or not is critical.

With this, we’ve taken down legitimate Polygon NFT projects that are currently making their name on the market.

Creative Owls

Currently, CreativeOwls NFTs have officially been sold out. However, Moon Light Owls, a limited collection, individually designed 50 items, all 1/1 editions created by Erich Kottke, is still up for grabs in the OpenSea. NFT holders of the said collection get access to Metaverse spaces, private events, and upcoming projects.

Creative Owls is a revolutionary new NFT project that helps Web3 NFT artists connect and sell art in the metaverse. Creative Owls is hosting The Mega Creative Show, Twitter Spaces every Tuesday and Thursday at 11:00 am EST with Mega Retro, another polygon NFT creator.

Emily Anne’s Art Collection

Another fantastic Polygon NFT artist, Emily Anne, is making a name for herself in the community. Currently, Emily has seven collections on OpenSea, all in her perseverance in overcoming adversity and limitations. Emily is finally able to create art using AI despite her disability. Below are Emily’s collections that are still up for grabs in OpenSea.

Emily is also continuously engaging with the community as a Twitter Spaces Host and one of Polygon’s community leaders.

Polygon Pomchi Collection

The Polygon Pomchi Collection is a series of adorable pomchis to bring holders joy in their wallets in the Polygon Blockchain.

“My collection is inspired by my furbaby, Mochi. He is a pomchi (pomeranian and chihuahua mix) in real life. He gives me joy with his cuteness every day. So, I wanted to try to capture it in my kawaii animal style Polygon Pomchis.” — Amy, Creator of the Polygon Pomchi Collection.

Amy adopted Mochi two years ago and has been her joy ever since. She wanted to share the feeling of happiness and love through her art with this collection.

Potent Potions by Mega Retro

“I got the inspiration of Potent Potions by getting tired of only seeing character NFTs. I wanted to see something different that wasn’t done yet. Accessories play a huge role in any cartoon world, so I picked portions and gave them a fun story about why collecting them helps the heroes keep them away from the Evil Professor.” — Mega Retro, Creator of Potent Potions.

What makes the project legit is the creator’s driven and determined initiative to continuously connect and engage with the community. Mega Retro even shared how he built the community’s trust by creating unique Series 1 Potent Potions that were then given free to all who joined his community.

Together with Creative Owls, Mega Retro hosts The Mega Retro Show every Tuesday and Thursday at 11:00 am EST. For minting and other information, visit their website here.

Secret Project

The Secret Project is a collection of 1/1 edition, all handmade art inspired by the classic Japanese style, Ukiyo-e, and pop culture. Chunchun, the creator, mentioned on their website how their fascination with Japanese culture and art has deeply influenced their life and their work as an artist.

Chunchun aims to help their mother pay her mortgage and eventually to help them move out and live independently. As an artist, sales from the collection would help upgrade their equipment and materials, keep learning more about art, and support the community.

Sleepy Pirates

Sleepy Pirates is based on the creator’s sleeping problem. It is a collection of 2D pixelated and 3D voxel art mixed NFT projects and a play-to-earn sailing game.

“I chose pirates because I wanted to have a strong and fun community. I’ve been playing games since I was five, and I want to combine the play with earning aspect with retro gaming.” — Sleepy Pirates.

His collection is based on his pure inspiration and creating art — one may even describe it as unpredictable. One example is the real-life utility of his collection, Booty Chest, where holders can request a song from him. He even sells a voxel pile of poop with a secret utility.

Taco Tribes NFTs

The Taco Tribe NFTs is a collection of 8,226 generated taco NFTs.

“The inspiration came from a nickname I’ve had for many years during my time creating YouTube content and streaming online. The taco character we use was made in 2015, and the Taco Tribe has been my personal brand for a long time.” — Ryan, Creator of Taco Tribes NFTs.

Having a taco NFT from the said collection doubles as a membership card into the Taco Tribe and grants access to members-only benefits. Holders are also granted whitelist privileges for any of their future collections. Aside from these holders’ benefits, 20% of all initial taco sales will go towards researching and preventing Alzheimer’s. For the list of their donations, you may click here.

Taco Tribes NFTs also aim to grow along with suggestions from their community on which directions to take their project. They’re continuously expanding into different realms to bring utility to holders and give back to those who have supported them.

There are many more unique, promising, and legitimate Polygon NFT projects out there. And as we monitor the NFT space further, we’ll continue to add more to this list. Until then, engage and connect with the community to know more about new and upcoming NFTs.
